Dr. Sticklen has been a faculty member at MSU for the last 21 years, at Ohio State Univ. for 4 years, and at Clemson University for 1 year. She has served for 6 years (2 terms) as member of the Governing Board of ICRISAT, and for 1 year on the Board of Trustees of CGIAR in Washington DC Also, she has routinely served as consultant to the U.S. National Academies National Research Council programs. Only during the last 3 years, she has served on the University Committee for Faculty Affairs, Athletic Council, the MSU Distinguished Faculty Awards Committee, and the MSU Executive Committee on Academic Council. She has published 2 books and over 100 other publications, and is inventor of 10 issued patents. Presently, she is the Guest Editor of Biofpr (Biofuels, Bioproducts and Biorefining) Journal, and serves on the Editorial Board of 2 other refereed journals.
