I earned my PhD in Physics at MSU in 2002, conducting research in psychoacoustics. As Outreach Coordinator for NSCL and MSU's Joint Institute for Nuclear Astrophysics (JINA), I get to tell students and the public about recent breakthroughs in nuclear science. I organized and taught part of the first Nuclear Astrophysics course (sponsored by JINA) for MST@MSU, a tremendous experience that I'm looking forward to again next year!
