A week-long day camp or residential program for students with a
strong interest in forensic science.
Eligibility Students must be currently in grades 7, 8
or 9 to enroll in Level I, or currently in grades 10, 11 or 12 to enroll in Level
II for the 2008-2009 school year. They must also meet the following criteria:
- Provide documentation of strong standardized test scores (SAT, ACT, Michigan Merit
Exam for instate students)
- GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Have a positive Teacher Recommendation from a current teacher.
- Have a strong interest in science.
Costs The day camp program cost of $475 includes the following:
- All instruction
- Lunches (Monday-Friday) and dinner (Friday)
- Supervision
- Course materials and supplies
- T-shirt
- Fingerprint Examination Kit
The residential program cost of $600 includes the following:
- All instruction
- Recreational activities
- Residential housing, meals, and supervision
- Course materials and supplies
- T-shirt
- Fingerprint Examination Kit
Costs Not Covered:
Transportation to and from Michigan State University is not covered. Parents/guardians
must arrange for the student to arrive at the campus for the check-in on the Sunday
the program begins. They must also arrange for the student to leave the campus after
the closing program on Friday, the last day of the program.

For Day Campers:
Day Campers must be dropped off Monday-Friday at McDonal Hall at 8:45am and picked up at the hall at 5pm.
