Cost: Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment students pay MSU tuition at the "lifelong education student-undergraduate" rate.
MSU Dual Enrollment tuition through Spring 2017:
|# of Credits||Tuition|
Note that dual enrollment tuition is subject to change at the discretion of Michigan State University.
If your school or school district is subsidizing tuition under the Post Secondary Enrollment Options Act, the cost that you actually pay would be lower.
The above tuition rates were determined using online MSU Tuition and Fees Calculator. To use the calculator, follow these steps:
- Select the semester for which you will be enrolled.
- Enter the information for the required fields. Note that for #2 (“Your Level”) you need to choose “lifelong education student-undergraduate" to get the accurate cost.
- After submitting the request, your full tuition will display in red text.
A portion of the tuition for each course may be covered by the student's high school district for the postsecondary enrollment courses taken at MSU. Page 10 of the Dual Enrollment Requirements document describes what school districts are required to pay and provides example calculations.
