First Responders/Front Line Workers
In Frontline Workers and First Responders: Heroes in Action, students will explore the careers and important roles of individuals who work on the front lines to keep our communities safe and healthy. Students will learn about the daily lives of first responders—such as police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians (EMTs)—and frontline workers like healthcare professionals, grocery store employees, and public service workers.
Through interactive activities, real-world examples, and guest speaker sessions, students will gain a deep understanding of the skills, challenges, and responsibilities involved in these critical careers. This class will also explore how these professionals work together during emergencies, highlighting their dedication to helping others and maintaining public safety.
Health, Wealth, and Stealth
Welcome to Health, Wealth, and Stealth, students will learn about building a strong foundation—an exciting and interactive class designed to help students learn how to maintain a healthy body, a sharp mind, and develop the strength to overcome challenges. This course will dive into three key areas: Health, Wealth, and Stealth, guiding students on how to take care of themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Through fun activities, expert lessons, and hands-on projects, students will explore how to maintain good nutrition and exercise habits (Health), keep their minds sharp and focused (Wealth), and build resilience and emotional strength (Stealth). The goal is to help students understand the importance of balance in all areas of life, empowering them to be strong, healthy, and confident individuals both now and in the future.
