Center for Talent Development (CTD) at Northwestern University uses tests intended for older students to provide a more accurate measurement of aptitude, because studies show that students who score in the top 10% on school achievement tests differ widely from average students in their abilities and educational needs.

CTD is dedicated to helping gifted children, age 4 through grade 12, reach full potential. CTD provides research-based assessment, advanced academic programs and resources to enhance a child's schooling.
