Explore the exciting world of law and justice! In this hands-on program, you’ll discover how laws are made and what really happens in a courtroom. Visit the State Capitol to see how new laws are created, then step inside the courtroom to learn how they are challenged and defended.

Take on different courtroom roles and learn the steps of a trial while developing key legal and communication skills—interviewing clients, organizing facts, creating case timelines, and mastering the art of advocacy.

Through engaging lessons and real-world examples, you’ll think like a lawyer, solve problems, and collaborate as part of a team. By the end, you’ll have built confidence as a leader, critical thinker, and communicator—all while gaining a deeper understanding of how our legal system works.

Chemical Concepts: Exploring Elements Through Experiments

An interactive introduction to chemistry in which students familiarize themselves with the smallest building blocks of our world. They’ll cover the scientific theories which explain what’s happening at a molecular level, as well as labs to demonstrate some of these phenomena and see how the reactions behave. Lab safety will be included.

Are you ready for an awesome adventure into the entertaining and vibrant world of Japanese culture?
In this class, students will explore Japan through hands-on cultural experiences and interactive activities. We’ll watch children’s anime, try traditional crafts like origami, learn how to use chopsticks, explore Japanese food, and discover what daily life is like for kids in Japan.

Students will also experience Japanese culture through simple greetings and listening activities, using language to connect rather than as a formal study. Through games, demonstrations, and interactions with visiting Japanese families, students will gain a deeper appreciation of Japanese traditions, pop culture, and everyday customs.

Journey Through the Universe: Discovering the Secrets of the Cosmos

This course is a hands‑on, curiosity‑driven journey through the universe designed for 5th–6th graders who love to ask big questions. Over five sessions, students explore the structure and scale of the cosmos — from the planets in our own solar system to the life cycles of stars, the secrets hidden in light, and the mysterious forces shaping the universe. Through interactive activities, real scientific tools, and a visit to the planetarium, students build an intuitive  understanding of how the universe works and why it’s still full of unanswered questions. This course blends science, imagination, and discovery to spark a lifelong sense of wonder about the cosmos.
